Other special events found at Hampton Beach are listed below, beginning in June:

Annual Sand Sculpting Competition – This event lasts for two weeks as twelve Masters of the Sand Sculpture Universe compete for over $10,000 in prizes. Over 250 tons of sand is dropped on Hampton Beach for this event and the entire area, including the beach and boardwalk, is illuminated for night viewing. Free entertainment is provided every night of the competition.

Annual Hobie Cat Regatta Race along the Beach – usually held each June.

Annual Miss Hampton Beach Pageant – a tradition for over fifty years, held at the Seashell Stage in July. This is a free event for all.

Hampton Beach’s Children Festival – five fun-filled days of activities for kids of all ages – and it’s all free. The event includes a sandcastle building contest, food, games, Arts Alive exhibit, magic shows, talent shows, Hampton Beach fireworks and a parade.

Annual Hampton Beach Seafood Festival – The Hampton Beach Seafood Festival is a huge event that has been rated as “One of the Top 100 Events in North America,” by the American Bus Association. Attendance at this festival exceeds 200,000 annually. Over fifty of the seacoast’s top restaurants serve mouthwatering seafood delicacies at the festival. Over 80 arts & crafts vendors promote their products, while hundreds of Ocean Boulevard merchants offer “end-of-the-season” sidewalk sales. There is a Kiddie Land with celebrities in children’s entertainment, culinary demonstrations, two stages of continuous entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display and skydiving demonstration. Free parking and shuttle service is provided by the city to the festival at over sixteen in-town parking lots, and Hampton Beach Trolleys offers free shuttle service from the State Park near Seabrook Bridge. This event is always held the first weekend after Labor Day and has been a tradition for fifteen years.
