Hampton Beach New Hampshire is located in the southeastern part of the state, along the Atlantic seaboard, and is considered part of the Portsmouth-Rochester metro area. Known for its’ miles of pristine, white sandy beaches and summer fun, Hampton Beach has been a summer vacation destination for decades. Outdoor activities include sunbathing, swimming, parasailing, sea kayaking, windsurfing, kite flying, fishing, and boating. At Hampton Harbor you can charter a boat and go deep-sea fishing or whale watching. Hampton Beach also has a state-of-the-art playground for children, mini golf and a water slide park. Enjoy playing golf at an 18-hole course that offers a beautiful layout among the picturesque seacoast, with Junior & Senior Discounts, Group Outing Services and more. In nearby Greenland is another golf course that is situated on 170 acres of rolling fairways, contoured greens, picturesque woodlands and granite boulders.

If you tire of the sun, sea and sand, and are looking for indoor activities, there’s fine dining and dancing to enjoy at Hampton Beach; also shopping, museums, marine aquariums, and historical sights to visit. Restaurants range from fast food to five star restaurants featuring fresh seafood and continental delights. Free summer concerts are held outdoors at the oceanside bandstand, and musical and comedy performances by well-known artists are found at the Hampton Beach casino. There are a variety of accommodations to suit everyone’s needs, and it’s difficult to find a place with more to offer than this beautiful seaside resort area. Hampton Beach has dozens of events May through September, such as the annual Master Sand Sculptors Competition, the Miss Hampton Beach Pageant and an annual seafood festival.
